Each dog is important to us.
We strive to ensure a safe and happy forever home to all Yorkies.
There are many aspects of rescue with which you can assist, often on short notice.
Volunteering your time
Picking up dogs
All rescues will have a "Wellness Checkup" and be spayed or neutered. There is an adoption fee.
Those interested may inquire as to the fee as it will be different for each rescue.
We have rescues we are taking inquiries on.
Bradley now residing in Victoria with Nisha.
Mr & Mrs Prothero of Kelowna BC with Emmy.
TOBY IS ADOPTED!! This is an exciting day for Toby. Our sweet little guy has found a home with Logan and her parents Tara and Bruno. Since he arrived, Toby was neutered, vaccinated, got his teeth done, was microchipped and finally adopted. Mom has some allergies but Toby did not provoke a reaction so we are hoping that none happens at his new home. Make us proud Toby!
Molly.......The most amazing thing has happened! I think we have found a home for Molly who has been with me for over one year. Yesterday Kate and Will visited with Molly and have telephoned to let me know that they would like to adopt her. Molly truly enjoyed her time with them and I was able to demonstrate all her good points (many) and her bad points (few), This week she will go to the vet for a check up and then on Friday she will go to her new home. I will miss this one - we have so much in common!
Gretzky has a forever home.
He will be trained as a therapy dog for a seniors home.
A Great One indeed, ‘Gretz’ was born in August/09 and is a healthy, robust young man.
He is neutered, has all his shots - full round of blood, fecal and urine tests show that he is healthy.
His original family moved back to Europe and the quarantine requirements meant that Gretzky could not go with them.
Oliver! GREAT NEWS FOR OLIVER!! He has found a new home with Lynn and her family. NO LITTLE KIDS!!! So that's perfect for Oliver.
Oliver is a smart little boy and I feel confident that he will be loved and cared for every day of his life.
Good luck to you all and give us an update to let us know how he is doing.
Anthony and Hunny have found a forever home. Anthony is 4 years old, has a beautiful temperament and is a soft, sweet boy who is playful and fun. Loves his food!! Hunny feels very safe around Anthony - they are a team! She is lovely and sweet but somewhat restrained around new people and she always keeps one eye on the door.
Rex is enjoying his new life in Nova Scotia with adopted family Alfred & Nancy firstname.lastname@example.org and his new “siblings” Daisie and Mollie. He is a 4 year old (unregistered) Yorkie assumed to be a purebred, and about 6 lbs. He is a friendly playful chap but is startled by children. Sadly, Rex has inoperable cataracts in both eyes and is blind but he has some dark-light perception and is able to navigate his new home.
